Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Excellence in Diagnostics International ("EDI," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

EDI provides the following services:

  • Calibration services for audiology and diagnostic equipment
  • On-site and in-lab calibration services
  • Equipment repair and maintenance
  • Customer portal access for scheduling and documentation
  • Calibration certificate generation and storage
  • Technical support and consultation

Service Guarantees

We guarantee:

  • NIST Traceability: All calibrations traceable to national standards
  • Certified Technicians: All work performed by qualified, certified staff
  • Compliance: Services meet ANSI, IEC, and ISO requirements
  • Documentation: Complete digital certificates provided within 24 hours
  • Quality Assurance: Multi-point verification on all calibrations

If any calibration is found to be non-compliant within 30 days, we will re-calibrate at no charge.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate equipment information and service history
  • Ensure equipment is clean and safe for technician handling
  • Notify us of any equipment damage or malfunction prior to service
  • Maintain secure access to your customer portal account
  • Review and approve quotes within specified timeframes
  • Provide safe working environment for on-site services
  • Pay invoices according to agreed-upon payment terms

Pricing & Payment

Quotes: All services require quote approval before work begins.

Payment Terms: Net 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

Late Payments: Accounts overdue by 45+ days may incur 1.5% monthly interest.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice.

Cancellations: Cancel scheduled appointments 48+ hours in advance to avoid fees.

Limitation of Liability

EDI's liability is limited to the cost of the calibration service provided. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or indirect damages
  • Equipment malfunction unrelated to calibration services
  • Loss of business or revenue due to equipment downtime
  • Damages resulting from customer misuse or improper maintenance
  • Claims exceeding the service fee paid

Warranty Disclaimer: All services provided "as is" except as explicitly stated in service agreements. We do not warrant equipment performance beyond calibration accuracy.

Intellectual Property

All calibration procedures, software, documentation templates, and portal content are proprietary to EDI. Customers may not reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer our systems or processes.

Termination

Either party may terminate service relationships:

  • With 30 days written notice for ongoing service contracts
  • Immediately for breach of terms or non-payment
  • Immediately if safety concerns arise

Upon termination, customer retains access to historical calibration certificates but loses portal access.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State], USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in [County], [State] in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's Commercial Arbitration Rules.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Material changes will be communicated via email to all active customers at least 30 days in advance.
